Slightly outside Wolfenbüttel city centre in Goslarsche Strasse, an administrative building was designed which, in form and character reflects both the location and the client's self-image.
The defining element of this design is a diagonal which intersects the building, connecting the two street areas with one another.
Imbued with these formal attributes, the building exhibits its own particular identity in the interior (hall and adjacent office rooms).
One of the essential features is that ‑ upon entering the building ‑ one can grasp its entirety and has a total overview.
In this case, the construction budget was exceeded. With the construction time (approx. 9 months) being extremely short, building firms had to be brought in from outside, because the local price structure was well above the national average.
